Kantorei Delights Audiences with Holiday Concerts
Always a special time for choral music, Kantorei delighted Denver audiences with four holiday concerts in December, 2010. Herbert Howells’ elegant A Spotless Rose opened a set of three rose-themed works, followed by Robert H. Young’s There is No Rose of Such Virtue and John Rutter’s setting of There is a Flower. Salli Terri's setting of the Appalachian carol, Jesus, Jesus Rest Your Head and Stacey Gibbs' arrangement of the holiday spiritual, "See Dat Babe," were audience favorites.
