Kantorei Completes Season with "The Road Home"

Capping off one of our most successful seasons yet, Kantorei completed the 2010-2011 season with "The Road Home," an evening of folk songs and spirituals from around the world. Always a popular program for our audiences, the evening featured folk songs from Japan, Sweden, Norway, and Hawaii, with our favorite American hymns and spirituals mixed in along the way. Audience favorite This Little Light of Mine, arranged by the late Moses Hogan, is shown in the video below.

The 2010-2011 concert season saw Kantorei reaching new levels in the choral world, notably through its performance at the 2011 National Convention of the American Choral Directors Association (held in Chicago, IL in March 2011). The performance was Kantorei's second such performance at the National Conference and was well-received by the Chicago audiences.

Kantorei returns this fall for its 15th Anniversary Season, with planned concerts in October 2011, December 2011, and May 2012. More details about the upcoming season, including programs, dates and locations, and special guests, will be announced this summer. Thank you for your support of Kantorei!
